Junior Presentation
Junior Presentation Night is on Friday 20th August, 6.30pm at the Clubrooms. BBQ dinner provided. Awards start at 7pm. Full details here.

Junior club uniforms need to be returned on the last game of the season (31st July). All juniors should bring a change of clothes on the day.

Tomato Classic
The annual Tomato Classic Golf Day will be held on Friday 13 August at the Devil Bend Golf Club. $40 per person (golf & bbq lunch). Grab a partner and sign up on the entry form in the Clubrooms.

DBA Under 12 Reps
Congratulations to Emma Tkalcevic and Ben Clarke on their selection in the DBA Under 12 representative team. Emma & Ben are off to Bendigo on the 17-18 July to compete in the Under 12 Winter Championships - good luck.

DBA Seniors
Congratulations to Chris Anderton, Mark Anderton, Neil Barfuss, Mark Jones, Noel Winther (EO) & Michele Winther (Scorer) on their selection to the DBA Senior representative team. The DBA team recently played in the Winter Championships in Mildura, bringing home the Division 2 title - well done to all.

DBA Under 12, 16 & 18 Tryouts
DBA Under 12 tryouts are on 13, 20, 27 June at the Berwick Baseball Club, 3pm-5pm. Please attend in baseball uniform and take the appropriate gear. This
years tournament will be held at Bendigo 17/18 July 2010.
DBA Under 16 tryouts are on 20 & 27 May at the Cheltenham Baseball Club, 4:30pm-5:30pm. Please attend in baseball uniform and take the appropriate
gear. To be eligible players must be under 16 at 31 December 2010. This years tournament will be held at Geelong 19/20 June 2010.

DBA Under 14 Tryouts
DBA Under 14 tryouts are on 9 May 2010 at the Dandenong Baseball Club, Clow St, Dandenong from 9.00am - 11.00am. Please attend in baseball uniform and take the appropriate gear. Tryouts will continue as advised. To be eligible players must be under 14 at 31 December 2010. This years tournament will be held at Ballarat 29/30 May 2010.

Our Under 12, 14 & 16 teams start competition this week - 24 April 2010.
Under 12s play Boneo at Boneo.
Under 14s play Moorabbin at home.
Under 16s play Mornington at Mornington.

Please note: All our junior games for 2010 will again be played at our Robinsons Rd grounds - Melway 103 B11.

Update
Training Last senior training before the start of the season this Thursday 15 April from 6pm onwards. Please get on down to the Club this Thursday (even just to say hello), so we can finalise team numbers, or contact the secretary (Sally Cox) by email: fbc.secretary@optusnet.com.au or phone: 0408 572 490.
Season start date is the 17th April. All teams playing against Dandenong, A1 & A2 at home, A3 & A4 at Dandenong.

Junior Training continues on Saturday mornings from 10am to 12pm until Easter. New players still welcome.
Senior Training - Saturday 20th March, Samual Sherlock Reserve, 1-3pm.
Annual General Meeting - Friday 26th March, at the Clubrooms, 7.30pm. Also senior registration on this night from 7pm.

With the summer season about to enter the 'finals' phase we are starting to gear up for Winter 2010. Some dates to keep in mind over the next month or so ...

World Masters
Congratulations to a couple of Tomatoes who competed in the recent World Masters in Sydney. Tim Hanson and Russell Clarke won Gold playing for the Geelong Saints in the 35+ recreational division.

Season 2009 - Final
The 2009 winter season has come to a close. The Club had 3 of the four senior teams play finals as well as the Under 12 team ... congrats to all involved. Good luck to those Tomatoes who play at different clubs over the summer, and hope to see you all back again for Season 2010.
